Oooo, I second this! Perhaps when Steve and Sam finally succeed in tracking him down they find a pregnant Bucky? (as in, he was pregnant during the movie, but found out or started to show after he escaped from HYDRA?)

I think Bucky might love having a child because he could make new memories with someone who didn't have preconceived notions of who he was before? And it'd be a positive way for him to start over/more forward with his life. And I could see ridiculous freaking-out-about-all-things-baby!Steve (IDK whether you were thinking Steve/Bucky or Steve and Bucky as bff or single-dad!Bucky) because however things go down I think Steve would be kind of overzealous? easily excitable? majorly overprotective? (like, I just found you after 70 years and you're having a baby?! I have to paint, like, 3 nurseries. In, like, red, white, and blue. this will be the most loved baby ever!) and maybe Sam would have to step in for labor and ultrasounds and grown-up things like that 'cause can't you just see Steve as one of those fainting-in-the-delivery room types?

Also I can totally see Tony being like "why are there baby books on the coffee table? why is Romanov running out for Gelato at 3 in the morning? why is steve knitting?" ...and then later... "my tower used to be so cool, why are the table corners covered in bubble-wrap?"

I'm not the OP, so please correct me if you were thinking something totally different, but I was kind of thinking past dirtybadwrong Pierce/Bucky or even Rumlow/Bucky could have led to Bucky's situation?

Oh- what if Pierce wants to breed the asset, but doesn't want to risk his own aging body (what if he's impotent or something?) so he forces Rumlow to do it.

They want the asset to reproduce because -handwavey faux science- it's the only way to guarantee another super soldier.

(OP here) I am fine with hand wavey science,and dirtybadwrong pierce/bucky or rumlow/bucky :)

I'm fine with all things (including single dad Bucky,or Steve helping out even if its not his baby.

I just need a pregnant Winter Soldier fix o3o
