Bucky grew up certain Steve would differentiate as an Alpha, and Bucky an Omega. He was right about Steve, but unfortunately: Bucky's a beta. I want lots of love and angst that Bucky can't be what Steve needs. I want a subby as hell Bucky that thinks like an Omega, and is so so frustrated that his body just won't GET with the program. Examples of things I'd die for: Bucky who fights tooth and nail to be able to take Steve's knot (Alphas can only come when tied?), even though it hurts like hell no matter how much prep Steve gives him. A Bucky who physically cannot come while there's a knot in him, who tries and tries any way. A Bucky who goes out dancing with Omegas so he can come home covered in their scent for Steve. I want a Steve that always accepts Bucky as his mate, even if they can't bond ("who cares, Buck. You're my mate, doesn't matter what you've got between your legs"), or properly tie, or even fuck ("I don't wanna hurt you. I don't need to come, Buck, it's fine"). I want Steve going into rut and Bucky sobbing because he can't heat up to match Steve. I JUST WANT HELLA ANGST AND GENDER DYSPHORIA AND LOVE CONQUERING ALL TBH.

Extra mega bonus points for Bucky doing traditionally Omega things, regardless of there being no biological reason for it, i.e.: settling when Steve squeezes his neck, going wild for being bitten on the neck even though there's no bonding gland, etc.
