I love the idea of Bucky having to relearn how to talk like a normal person but of course my brain took that idea and ran with it. What if he had to relearn almost everything about being an autonomous person? After being fed intravenously for an illness as a child I had to work with a therapist to relearn how to eat, just because I'd lost the habit. And from what I know about sleep disorders, sometimes people who rely on chemical sleep aids have to relearn how to sleep without them.
So basically after Steve recovers Bucky he has to help him regain his ability to eat, sleep and talk like a human adult again? Not adult infant play, and Bucky can be more than capable in other areas, but without some basic human skills. Kind of a learned (coerced) helplessness.
