Steve/Bucky sort of role reversal

(Anonymous) 2014-09-21 07:24 pm (UTC)(link)
I've seen a few fics where Bucky is born in the modern age and Steve is still Captain America, but I'd like a fix where it's Steve in that position instead. He ends up finding the Winter Soldier rifling through his garbage and ends up adopting him like a dog.

Bonus points if Bucky used to be Captain America, then the fall happened and he ended up being the Soldier; even more bonus points for skinny!Steve who doesn't care that this guy he rescued used to be an American icon turned super assassin, he's still A human who needs to learn how the modern age works.

My first born for fem!Steve having to deal with a super assassin with 1940s ideals.

Wow, I think if we get fem!Steve having to deal with a lost super assassin with 1940s ideals I have a firstborn to spare, too!

Bucky - realistic response - warn for torture aftermath, drugs/alcohol, suicidal ideation

(Anonymous) 2014-09-21 10:56 pm (UTC)(link)
He's not a machine.

He's not stoic. He's not immune to the damage. He's not healed with a helping hand and a helping of therapy.

There are nightmares. There are screaming fits and crying jags and rages. There's paranoia and anger. There's alcohol and drugs. And when they prove useless, there's the window that he sometimes thinks of jumping out of.

Sometimes he misses the quiet cold and dark, can't help but think he was better off before. And sometimes he can't get warm enough and is terrified of the shadows.

(In other words, Bucky reacts to the 70 years of torture and brainwashing and killing innocents and Stolkholm syndrome like a person would, not a comic book hero.)

Re: Bucky - realistic response - warn for torture aftermath, drugs/alcohol, suicidal ideation

(Anonymous) 2014-09-21 11:03 pm (UTC)(link)
PS: Any physical and/or cognitive effects from the torture, like brain damage, trouble with his nerves (shaking, intermittent tremors), difficulty focusing for extended periods of time...anything like that is welcome as well.

Toro/Bucky; war years hurt/comfort

(Anonymous) 2014-09-22 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Would really like to see Bucky and Toro (also Steve and/or Namor?) get captured by a villain of anon's choice during the war years.

The others are needed for experiments, but Bucky's just human, so they aren't too concerned about keeping him in one piece. They feel free to rough him up and don't bother feeding him.

Extra bonus points if Toro's prison cell is right by Bucky's, so he can hear what's going on but can't do anything to help.

+1000: Toro manages to talk his way into Bucky's cell at some point, where he cleans him up/gives him food from his own rations.
+5000: When it gets particularly bad, Toro manages to get a message to Steve and/or Namor to the effect of, "We need to get out of here, or Bucky's not going to make it."
+100000: Jailbreak and subsequent nursing back to health

Steve/Bucky, tearjerker, character death

(Anonymous) 2014-09-22 07:22 am (UTC)(link)
Pre-serum or post-WS is fine. Bucky gets sick (pre-war tuberculosis? complications from the arm?) and he and Steve eventually learn he's terminally ill. Steve is determined to give his best guy all the love he can in the time they have left together.

Steve & Bucky, post fight on the Helicarrier

(Anonymous) 2014-09-22 03:25 pm (UTC)(link)
So, we all know that during the fight on the Helicarrier, Bucky shot Steve three times and so on but what about the time Steve broke/twisted Bucky's shoulder? He couldn't use his right arm for the rest of the fight after all and I've never seen a single fic dealing about it so far.

Basically, how does Bucky deal with this special injury?

Steve/Bucky, Alpha/Omega, Angst + Fluff

(Anonymous) 2014-09-22 03:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Omega!Bucky has been saved from the hands of Hydra, after years of exploitation and slavery, by SHIELD and now needs to be under the care of an Alpha while he is recovering for legal reason. (It's the kind of universe where Omegas are always minor in terms of legislation, so an Alpha needs to take over for all the legal stuff: opening/having a bank account, driving license, and so on, there are plenty of examples all around the world.)

Enter Alpha!Steve, who is deemed good enough to take care of an injured Omega like Bucky. Obviously it's not a walk in the park, with all the trauma Bucky has to deal with, but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. And Bucky has a referent from SHIELD who stays in his life to make sure everything is alright with his new Alpha (either Sharon or Clint, for example).

Bonus:
-Steve freaking out to his good friend Sam because he is not sure of himself.
-Steve still being a Captain, and possibly still involved with SHIELD one way or another and that's how he got picked?
-Bucky being friend/on good terms with someone who isn't Natasha. I love them being friends in fics and so on but sometimes it would be nice to read something different.
-If you want to include some sex scenes I would love to read some praise!kink, it's a bit hard to find around here :)

Gen or Bucky/Sam, swing dancing

(Anonymous) 2014-09-23 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Simple - post-TWS, after Bucky's had some time to rebuild himself, Sam and Bucky go swing dancing. Because you know those two have *moves*.
Fem!Bucky is also fine, if you like writing genderswap.

Steve/Bucky, omegaverse, Steve is a late bloomer

(Anonymous) 2014-09-23 05:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Set when they are young(ish - think late teens). Bucky is an omega and just getting used to taking suppressants. Sometimes a heat will take him by surprise and he'll be left holed up in his room moaning and drooling into his pillow and sobbing with need. Steve takes it upon himself to look after Bucky, wiping the sweat from his body and holding water to his lips and trying to stop him humping everything in sight. That's what best friends do, right?

But What Bucky doesn't know is that Steve is an alpha, albeit a very late-bloomer. He tries to keep it a secret and let everyone keep assuming he's a beta because he's convinced an alpha would never be trusted locked up in a bedroom with a desperate omega. He wants to take care of Bucky, and probably stop him bending over for every alpha he sees. But with each of his best friend's unexpected heats, his own physical responses grow stronger, and he isn't sure how long he can hide it for

Gen or Sam/Natasha, post-Helicarriers comfort

(Anonymous) 2014-09-23 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Steve and Bucky's big fight was heartrending, of course, but the Battle at the Triskelion couldn't have been easy for Sam and Natasha, either. Apart from the physical dangers they'd faced, Natasha just pulled down the foundation of her post-Heel-Face-Turn adult life, and considering the circumstances of Riley's death, I wouldn't be surprised if Sam found the battle for the helicarriers just a bit triggering after the excitement wore off. And then there's Steve, a person they both like and respect a great deal, being so seriously hurt.

These two need some post-adventure aftercare, is what I'm saying. Can be friendship, can be shippy, but I'm not really looking for porn. More along the lines of patching each other up and couch cuddles.

Steve & Bucky (slash or gen) - recently wiped Bucky in Steve's care

(Anonymous) 2014-09-24 08:17 am (UTC)(link)
Post TWS, Steve and Sam start their dual mission of razing Hyrda to the ground and finding Bucky. The first part is going well, but the second, not so much.

Because, thing is, Bucky's not ready to be found. He's spent too long under someone else's control, being told what is and isn't right, what he can or can't do, what he does or doesn't remember. He can't risk that happening again, even if it is Steve. He needs to, if not recover, at least remember on his own.

And of course, he's doing his own cathartic Hydra hunting, and that helps.

Steve crosses paths with Bucky a few times, and each time it breaks his heart to watch Bucky walk away. But each time, Bucky looks at him with a bit more familiarity and it gives him hope.

That is, until during his latest raid on a Hydra base, Steve finds Bucky strapped to a chair, screaming.

TLDR: Steve finds a freshly wiped Bucky, and has to find a way to take care of an exceptionally vulnerable and impressionable Bucky, without doing more harm than good.

Bucky/Any, Bucky rediscovering his sexuality post Winter Soldier

(Anonymous) 2014-09-26 08:18 am (UTC)(link)
It seems likely that in the wake of seventy years spent treated as a weapon rather than a person and a whole lot of memory loss, Bucky's forgotten a lot of what he likes, sexually. And not just the specifics of what he likes in bed. He's out of practice even wanting things and enjoying everyday pleasures. Not to mention that sensations probably don't feel quite the same with his changed body. And seventy years as a POW/human weapon is bound to give a guy a few new triggers. So Bucky has a lot to relearn.
There are some really good psychologically-oriented Bucky recovery stories out there, but I haven't really seen any focusing on this aspect.

Stucky, serum caused genderswap: "I thought you were dead." / "I thought you were a girl."

(Anonymous) 2014-09-26 04:16 pm (UTC)(link)
On account of Reasons, the serum is given to skinny sickly Stephanie Rogers. The end result is the same.

+Her nickname as a woman was still Steve, because I find it jarring to read "Steph."
++1940s gender norms are still 1940s gender norms; she gets a lot more respect and attention as a man than she ever did before.
+++Pre-existing pre-war Stucky.

+1

...except the name "Stephanie" is anachronistic (it wasn't really a name given in 1918). Stella is the closest to Steve, both in terms of spelling and popularity. Steve's nickname could still be Steve, though, if she had a habit of crossdressing

Steve/Bucky, goodbye, character death

One of the other Avengers mortally wounds the Winter Soldier. Steve is stunned to realize the dying man is his Bucky - and then Bucky recognizes him.

Bucky/Steve

Post apocalyptic fic where Brock is a powerful military leader who forces Bucky into marrying him. Bucky, a soldier, is a fighter, so Brock uses electric shock therapy and drugs to keep him pliant and confused. When Captain Rogers realizes that his lover didn't spurn him to marry someone else, but was forced, he assembles a force to take down Brock.

Fill: Caged Steel, rape, character death mentioned. Brock/Bucky, Steve/Bucky future

(Anonymous) 2016-08-04 12:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Summery: Brock Remould takes an unusual trophy alongside with his dead mentor's throne. But when that trophy is a deadly assassin with a past, that past returning just might lead to his downfall.

Alexander Pierce's body wasn't even cold before Brock seized power. His personality as well as some well placed promises allowed him to round up the old leader's inner circle. One by one they were lined up and given their choice, kneel and accept Rumlow's rule or a bullet to the head.

As Rumlow approached the end, the smirk that had been on his lips widened and his tongue darted out to lick slowly across his lips. The Winter Solider, one of Pierce's greatest weapons, fellow enforcer and personal bodyguard stood absently now his to claim. The last of Pierce's men had made their choice and now Brock had a little task for them to show their loyalty.

“Well now that we've gotten all that settled, I have one little test for you.” Brock said ripping the mask of the confused Winter Solider. He'd seen the other's pretty face a handful of times and had spent more than one night fantasizing. The kiss seemed to take the other man by surprise, Brock groaning appreciatively. There was no resistance as he was shoved to the ground.

“Keep him pinned, boys. I've got a claim to stake.” Brock said hastily unhooking his pants, reveling in his victim's horrified scream. Brock ignored the scream and the attempts to wriggle out of his hands. Brock's hands caressed over leather and metal buckles. The other men gave their pinned comrade sympathetic looks but knew each and every one of them could easily become the one held down to be violated by Brock.

“He liked to call you James, right?” Brock asked his victim, before scowling and twisting his fingers in long chestnut locks. “I asked you a question.” Brock continued, deviling an open handed strike against his head. “What is your name, Soldier.” There was a pause and Brock slapped him again.

“James, sir.” Came the croaked reply. Brock chuckled to himself and drew his knife. It was time to get this party truly started. James' clothes slid apart under the blade, Brock wanted to bruise the pale skin.

“You there, come here.” Brock hated the sun of a bitch that moved from the edge of the group. Brock had always hated this ass-kisser and had almost shot him regardless of his answer but now he had the perfect revenge. He grabbed the groveling man by the chin and shoved him towards James' now bare buttocks. “Prep him.” There was a flash of hatred but the other man complied reluctantly sticking out his tongue and trailing the skin surrounding Jame's pucker, causing the man to shriek and sob. Brock stroked his erection lazily as he watched the show.

“All right, that's enough Sitwell.” Brock purred as he sank to his knees and kicked James' resisting legs further apart and clamped his hands on James's hips. “Hnngh! Good, ahh, to see, ohh, that, mmm, all ohh, fucked out yet.” the pleasure was intense as Brock slid deliberate slowness into James, who was screaming now. “Mmm, fuck, ohh, so tight, ahh, going to, oh baby, hnn, have so much, ahh, ohh, fun fucking you.” Brock thrust wildly into the body beneath him with abandon. The screams had died down to horse sobs and Rumlow nuzzled against James's back in an almost loving fashion. Brock certainly knew that he wanted to keep this one around for a long time as he ejaculated into James' crumpled body. “Found myself a hot little wifey.” Brock mummered as pulled out and turned James' head to give him a fond kiss on the cheek.

Equilibrium inspired Stucky

(Anonymous) 2014-09-27 12:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Emotions are regulated in the future through a mandatory serum taken by everyone and Steve works as a Captain for the totalitarian government, arresting people who are 'sense offenders' (they don't take their daily dose of the serum or possess emotionally stimulating materials such as books, art and music, which are all banned.

People no longer have sex. Couples are assigned by the state, their genetic material taken to create their offspring. Having grown up together, trained to be law enforcers, Steve and Bucky were always going to end up married, whether they wanted it or not. They lead a stable and structured life, though sometimes Steve thinks he sees something in Bucky's eyes which looks like emotion.

When Steve misses a dose, he questions himself on why if he suspects Bucky of committing a sense offense, has he never turned him in? Then he misses another dose, and another. Soon he's missed enough that his reason for finding the underground group, The Howling Avengers, is not to arrest them, but to find out why they're fighting for the ugliness of emotion.

He doesn't expect to find Bucky is a member. Bucky's never been so happy.

Steve/Bucky, sweet awkward "first time" post-TWS sex

(Anonymous) 2014-09-28 06:52 am (UTC)(link)
Steve and Bucky are reunited post-TWS, and considering the massive amount of trauma Bucky has to deal with, his mental and emotional recovery is progressing pretty well. Steve and Bucky have become romantically involved (your choice if they were together in the forties or not), and their relationship is getting more physical, but not without its share of awkwardness. Bucky doesn't really have much idea what he's supposed to be doing (because amnesia) and may have some lingering issues with people messing with his body; and Steve is a big dorkface when it comes to making sexual or romantic advances and is holding back a little besides because he doesn't want to come on too strong and pressure Bucky into anything. And they're both a bit out of practice.

But despite all this, they do manage to have sex eventually. (By sex, just to clarify, I'm not only talking about full-on penetrative stuff. You want to write about blowjobs, frottage, etc., that's great too.) It's a little awkward but more than worth it.

Steve/Bucky, AU where they both survived WWII

(Anonymous) 2014-09-29 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
I've seen a lot of stories where Bucky didn't fall off the train, but I've never read one where they both survived the war and went home.

In a universe like that - and especially one where they're gay/bi have an established relationship - what do they do after WWII?

Realistically, there would be a lot of pressure on Steve - to continue to be Captain America (especially during the Cold War), to marry Peggy, maybe to do other things like go into politics. He'd certainly continue to be a public figure, whether he liked it or not.

How could Steve and Bucky maintain a secret relationship (because it would have to be secret) with Steve being so famous? Would they work for SHIELD and do cool spy stuff, or would Steve quit and go to art school on the GI Bill? Does history unfold the same way without the Winter Soldier around to assassinate people?

I'd love to see both a "soon after the war" version dealing with this, and to see a story set decades later where they come out.

Re: Steve/Bucky, AU where they both survived WWII

(Anonymous) 2014-09-30 12:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Man, I've been thinking about this. Actually, I can't figure out a single halfway-realistic scenario how they could have a happy ending together, always hiding, always pretending. So seconded, I'd read the hell out of this, and probably cry my eyes out. Or let myself be pleasantly surprised, who knows. ;D

Steve/Bucky, pre-serum Steve topping Bucky.

(Anonymous) 2014-09-29 04:10 am (UTC)(link)
Pre-serum, Steve/Bucky established relationship.

Bucky wants to try fucking Steve (they've never had penetrative sex before). Steve agrees - on the condition that he gets to try fucking Bucky, too.

Turns out, Bucky *loves* bottoming. Really, really gets off on it.

I'd like it if Bucky has to struggle with some internalized homophobia-related feelings of emasculation about bottoming - especially if that feeling turns him on even more.

I'd love it if, the first time, he comes just from Steve fingering him.
